Job summary

Grocery Outlet in Middletown, PA is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Driver to support warehousing operations, transport orders on designated routes, and ensure safe operation of vehicles. This role reports to the Manager - Transportation.

Key responsibilities include conducting daily vehicle inspections, operating service trucks to designated sites, maintaining dispatch communication, following safety rules, and handling backhaul pickups as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months OTR or 1 year driving local driving experience.
• Valid Class A-CDL Driver’s License.
• Understanding of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Knowledge of basic math and ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-shift & post-shift vehicle inspection.
• Operate service truck to and from pre-designated work sites.
• Maintain telephone or radio contact with dispatch to receive instructions.
• Follow all established safety rules & regulations.
• Backhaul pickups as assigned.

About the Role

Warehouse/ Delivery Driver provide support to the warehousing operations with specific responsibilities of transporting orders over designated routes; ensuring safe operation of vehicles; and loading and unloading orders. This role reports to the Manager - Transportation.

Responsibilities Include

• Conduct daily pre-shift & post-shift vehicle inspection, report deficiencies to the shop immediately, report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Assistant Transportation Manager.
• Operate service truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information.
• Maintain telephone or radio contact with dispatch to receive instructions.
• Follow all established safety rules & regulations.
• Backhaul pickups as assigned.

Shift Hours

• Monday , Tuesday , Friday , Saturday 5:00am - 3 : 30pm

About The Pay

• Pay Range: $26.66 Hourly
• 401(k) Profit Sharing
• Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.

About You

• Minimum 6-months OTR or 1-year driving local driving experience
