Job summary

Fab-Tex, a truck dealer in Western Suffolk County, is expanding its service team and seeking a Class A Driver who can operate a manual Kenworth and tow a landoll trailer. The role requires a Class A CDL with manual transmission experience and a tow endorsement (or willingness to add it).

Responsibilities include delivering equipment, unloading safely, obeying traffic laws, and assisting in yard duties when not driving. This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate.

Fab-Tex, a truck dealer located in Western Suffolk County, is expanding its service team. We are currently looking to hire a Class A Driver who is willing to join our growing team. Serious inquiries only - must know how to drive a manual transmission Kenworth and tow a landoll trailer.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver equipment and trucks to various locations as instructed and safely unload equipment.
• Conform to all safety rules and use all the appropriate safety equipment to operate any equipment authorized to complete your job.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.
• Assist in moving vehicles to different yards
• Must be willing to help in yard when not driving

Requirements:

• *Class A CDL license, must know how to drive a manual transmission tractor and landoll trailer* (1 year of experience)
• Tow Endorsement - or willing to add it
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, motivation, focus, and organization.
• Must have great communication skills within a team environment.
• Can work in a face-paced shop without sacrificing quality of work.

• The employee is required to stand, walk, grasp tools, hear, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit for an extended time period, lift/ move up to 25 lbs, and have good vision.
• Must have a clean CDL license and be able to pass a DOT drug test.
