St. Mary's Food Bank in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Tractor Trailer Driver (Class A) to run regularly scheduled routes, collecting donated foods from donors and returning to the warehouse for loading and unloading.

Hours start at 5am and continue until the route is finished. A CDL Class A is required, and drivers must maintain a good driving record and DOT medical certification. This safety sensitive role offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience driving a commercial vehicle.
• CDL (Class A) is required.
• FMCSA compliance; pass CDL English Proficiency test; read and speak to understand highway signs and reports.
• Good driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to move and/or lift 50-75 lbs consistently.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Good planning and organization; strong customer service.

Responsabilités

• Drive a company truck on a scheduled route to pick up donated food and return to the warehouse for loading/unloading.
• Assist in loading/unloading and operate pallet jacks per policy and OSHA standards.
• Complete Driver Duty Status and Vehicle Inspection Reports (DOT requirements).
• Label pallets and donor boxes, fill out receipts neatly.
• Deliver to donors and maintain on-time standards; build relations with donors/merchants.
• Maintain cleanliness of trailers/truck boxes and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Drive Class A or B as needed; report delays to dispatch.
• Perform other duties as assigned; this is a safety sensitive position.
