Houston Food Bank is seeking a Class A Driver to transport food and essentials safely across our 18-county service area. The role emphasizes timely deliveries, adherence to DOT regulations, and exemplary customer service to partner agencies.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, loading and unloading using pallet jacks, and completing daily reports. Candidates must have a Texas Class A CDL and be prepared to travel up to 90% as required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year verifiable Class A tractor/trailer experience; internal candidates may substitute.
• Must have valid Texas Class A CDL and clean MVR; DOT physical.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe vehicle operation.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain punctual attendance and participate in meetings and training.
• Operate company vehicles on established routes following DOT regulations.
• Deliver to partner agencies, load/unload pallets, and ensure safe handling of products.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Complete trip reports and required paperwork daily.
• Represent Houston Food Bank with professional conduct and customer service.
