Job Description

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced and dedicated Class A Tig Welder for a company based in Huntsville, AL. The role involves metal fabrication using TIG welding according to customer specifications.

Pay Rate
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Tig Welder Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up welding machines based on the job requirements.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings to determine welding needs.
• Perform TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components as per specifications.
• Layout parts and fixture them to maintain tolerances.
• Apply shop math in setup and inspection processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience as a Class A TIG Welder is required.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in performing Class A welds on 14-gauge or 16-gauge materials within 15 minutes during the interview.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic ability to read and interpret engineering and shop drawings.
