Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1.5 years as Lineman B with Shelton Energy or 2-year formal training with 4 years verifiable experience including 3 energized work years.
• OSHA 10 hr Safety Training within 90 days.
• CDL Class A license preferred; must obtain permit within 60 days.
• Possession of climbing tools preferred.
• Ability to read and understand minimum approach distances.
• Desire to learn and commit to safety and quality work.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, or repair distribution facilities of all types while energized or deenergized without supervision.
• Willingness to learn new skills through continuing education activities.
• Follow safety standards and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
