Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC seeks a Lineman – A Class to join our electrical division. You will perform line work on energized and de-energized systems, climb poles, and read data from meters while following safety protocols.

This is a demanding outdoor role requiring physical stamina and strong communication. Candidates must have four years of experience or equivalent hours, a valid Class A CDL, and OSHA-10 certification within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience or equivalent hours in electrical line work.
• Must read and interpret data from meters and dials.
• Must complete OSHA 10hr Safety Training within 60 days.
• Must possess a valid State Driver License and Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of electrical line work methods, practices and equipment.
• Operate energized and de-energized lines and equipment safely.
• Climb poles and perform strenuous duties in varying weather.
• Follow instructions and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Maintain tools and equipment; respond to work orders and outages.
