Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions in Denver, CO, is seeking safety‑conscious Class A Linehaul Drivers to transfer freight to specified locations, hook/unhook trailers, and complete required paperwork. Drivers are home daily with weekends off, supporting a healthy work‑life balance in a driver‑friendly environment.

The role features Monday–Friday shifts starting at 9pm, with routes including Denver to Villa Grove and back, and Denver to Scottsbluff and back.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years of age.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• No DUI’s or DWI’s (in the past 3 years).
• No more than 3 traffic violations (in past 3 years).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain - renewals reimbursable.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Hook up and haul trailers between our customer/terminal locations as instructed by dispatch or immediate supervisor.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point.
• Operate tractor-trailer combination for extended periods of time, over long distances.

PAY:

$342.30/day (Villa Grove) + $5,000 sign on bonus!

$351/day (Scottsbluff) + $5,000 sign on bonus!

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 21 years of age
• 1 year of commercial driving experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to frequently enter and exit the cab of a commercial vehicle.
• Must be able to carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for a distance of up to 20 feet.
• Must be able to hook and unhook various commercial vehicle combinations, to manually lower and raise landing gear, to operate fifth wheel release levers, to lock and release pintle-hooks, to attach and release safety chains, to open and close cargo doors, to climb into and out of vehicles, and to fuel and check oil/coolant levels of vehicles.
