Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions, Inc. DBA CCFS is seeking a Class A Linehaul Driver to transport freight across specified routes. This role offers home daily with weekends off, starting from Reno, NV to Tonopah, NV.

Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL, at least one year of commercial driving experience, and necessary endorsements. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience.
• No DUI or DWI convictions in the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years.
• Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain.
• Must have doubles endorsement.

Job Summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) is a transportation company operating throughout the Western and Central United States. The Class A Linehaul Driver will transfer freight between specified locations, hook and unhook commercial trailers, and complete all required paperwork. The position offers home daily with weekends off on consistent routes, including a Monday–Friday 9 p.m. start from Reno, NV to Tonopah, NV (418 miles) and back.

Essential Job Duties

• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Hook up and haul trailers between customer and terminal locations as instructed by dispatch or supervisor.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point.
• Operate a tractor‑trailer combination for extended periods of time over long distances.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years of age.
• One year of commercial driving experience.
• No DUI or DWI convictions in the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years.
• Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain them; renewals reimbursable.
• Must have doubles endorsement.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to frequently enter and exit the cab of a commercial vehicle.
• Must be able to carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for a distance of up to 20 feet.
• Must be able to hook and unhook various commercial vehicle combinations, manually lower and raise landing gear, operate fifth‑wheel release levers, lock and release pintle‑hooks, attach and release safety chains, open and close cargo doors, climb into and out of vehicles, and fuel and check oil and coolant levels of vehicles.
