Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions in Denver, CO seeks safety‑conscious Class A Linehaul Drivers. Transfer freight to destinations on time, hook/unhook trailers, and complete required paperwork. Home daily with weekends off, supporting a balanced lifestyle and career growth.

Shifts start at 6pm, Monday through Friday, with Denver to Pueblo routes. Typical pay includes $0.79 per mile ($36/hour for pick & delivery) plus a $5,000 sign‑on bonus, under the supervision of the Linehaul Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL and Hazmat/Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain them.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• No DUI/DWI in past 3 years; no more than 3 traffic violations in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Hook up and haul trailers between customer/terminal locations as instructed by dispatch.
• Ensure shipping documents are ready for DOT inspection and accompany shipments.
• Operate tractor-trailer for extended distances.

Job Summary

This position requires transferring freight to specified locations in a timely manner, hook and unhook commercial trailers, and complete all paperwork required by government regulations and company procedures/policies. Essential Job Duties

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Hook up and haul trailers between our customer/terminal locations as instructed by dispatch or immediate supervisor
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point
• Operate tractor-trailer combination for extended periods of time, over long distances

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 21 years of age
• 1 year of commercial driving experience
• No DUI's or DWI's (in the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 traffic violations (in past 3 years)
• Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain - renewals reimbursable
• This position requires successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to frequently enter and exit the cab of a commercial vehicle.
• Must be able to carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for a distance of up to 20 feet.
• Must be able to hook and unhook various commercial vehicle combinations, to manually lower and raise landing gear, to operate fifth wheel release levers, to lock and release pintle-hooks, to attach and release safety chains, to open and close cargo doors, to climb into and out of vehicles, and to fuel and check oil/coolant levels of vehicles.
