Daniels Health is seeking a customer-focused Class A Hazmat driver for our Gardena, CA Plant. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver service with autonomy and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Class A Hazmat license required with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving large straight trucks and tractor-trailers.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Drop and hook with minimal live unload.
• Operate straight trucks and tractor trailers up to 53 feet long.
• Complete deliveries on schedule and communicate changes or challenges clearly.
• Load and unload and manage route per schedule.
• Heavy lifting as part of daily tasks (up to 75 lbs).
• Adhere to DOT regulations, log hours and perform roadside inspections.
