Job summary
Daniels Health is seeking a Class A driver with Hazmat to service healthcare locations around San Diego. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers, deliver with professional service, and operate up to 53-foot tractors and straight trucks. Qualifications
- Class A license with a clean driving record and valid medical card.
- Hazmat license required.
- Six months of driving experience with tractor trailers or straight trucks.
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours and inspections.
- Passing the 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform heavy lifting as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
- Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
- Operating straight trucks and tractor trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Completing deliveries on schedule and communicating changes clearly.
- Loading/unloading and organizing the truck per schedule and needs.
- Adhering to DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
- Heavy lifting as required.
