Job summary
Daniels Health is seeking a Class A licensed driver to service healthcare locations across MD/DC. You will operate a straight truck or tractor-trailer up to 53 ft, load and unload, and safely collect medical waste containers while maintaining exceptional customer service.
This full-time, 3rd shift role offers stability, a $32/hour base pay, and growth opportunities with overtime. A $3,000 new hire bonus is available after probation.
Qualifications
- Class A license with a clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
- Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/53-ft trailers.
- Pass the 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.
- Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus and longevity.
- Touch freight experience required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver throughout MD/DC.
- Operate straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53 ft safely.
- Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers.
- Provide strong customer service and build relationships.
- Complete deliveries to schedule and communicate changes.
- Load and unload and organize truck per schedule needs.
- Comply with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
- Push/pull a 200 lb cart.
