Job summary

Charlie's Produce is seeking a driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of fresh produce to customers across the Puget Sound region. You will check invoices during deliveries, unload palletized produce with a hand truck, and provide courteous service to customers at each stop.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL and medical card, 23+ years old, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. A clean driving record and basic English literacy per DOT rules are essential features of the job.

Qualifications

• Be 23 yrs or older due to insurance requirements
• 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred
• Valid Class A CDL and medical card Interstate qualification, registered
• Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift
• Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English
• Satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

• Deliver ensure safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout the Puget Sound region
• Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries
• Palletized product delivered to customers with hand truck
• Provide superior customer service during each delivery
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers
• Maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, customer-focused attitude with colleagues
• Perform all other duties as requested or assigned
