Job summary

Power Plus in New Jersey seeks a skilled generator technician to service and maintain rental generators, in-shop and on customer sites. You will interact with customers professionally and complete inspection paperwork on generator performance.

Required are mechanical and electrical aptitude, Class A license, and relevant technical schooling. Diesel generator experience is a plus as is experience in automotive or military fields. Compensation reflects seniority and location.

Responsibilities

• Fuel, operate and maintain generators.
• Assist in the installation of rental generators at various sites, including telecommunications facilities, existing structures, and construction trailers.
• Order parts for repairs as needed.
• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of generator systems, including engine oil and coolant services, servicing and priming fuel system.

SUMMARY

This position is in the US Generator Rental Division. The primary duties and responsibilities of this position are to perform service and maintenance on Power Plus rental generators. This requires the technician to work in the shop and occasionally drive to customer sites, interact with customers in a professional and manner, and fill out inspection paperwork indicating the performance of the generator.

Total Estimated Compensation: $82,940 - 101,900
