Job summary

Charlie’s Produce in Anchorage, AK is seeking a safety‑conscious delivery driver to ensure the timely, accurate delivery of fresh produce throughout the Anchorage region. Night driving shifts for dark drops are available, and drivers may be assigned flexible routes as needed.

You will verify invoices, handle deliveries with a hand truck, provide friendly customer service, and uphold data privacy and dash-cam policies while operating company vehicles.

Qualifications

• One year verifiable driving experience with a Class A AK Driver's License.
• Delivery experience preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver produce to customers throughout the Anchorage region, including night shifts for dark drops.
• Accurately check invoices at delivery.
• Use a hand truck for palletized loads.
• Provide superior customer service at each delivery.
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting COD payments.

Job Description

The Role

You will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout the Anchorage region. Currently we are hiring for all shifts, including a night driving shift for dark drops.

• Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries.
• Palletized product will be delivered to customers with hand truck.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery.
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers.
• Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues.
• Must be comfortable operating a company vehicle equipped with an outward and driver facing dash cam.
• Adhere to company policy regarding dash cam usage and data privacy.
• Drivers are expected to maintain the functionality of their assigned vehicle's dash cam.
• All other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• One year verifiable driving experience with a Class A , AK Driver's License
• Delivery experience preferred
• Clean Driving Record
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 75lbs repeatedly
