Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a Class A licensed driver to support NYC deliveries and pickups, with routes across NYC/NJ/PA. You will operate up to a 53ft tractor trailer and handle medical waste containers while delivering safe, reliable service.

We offer a 1st shift schedule, a $32/hour base rate, and full-time benefits. A clean driving record, valid DOT medical card, and 3+ years of experience are required to join our essential healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A license with a valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight trucks/53 ft trailers.
• Clear Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse entry (7-year FADV review).
• Experience with DOT compliance and logging hours.

Responsibilities

• New York City deliveries and pickups across NYC/NJ/PA.
• Operate straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53 ft safely.
• Collect and deliver medical waste containers; provide strong customer service.
• Meet delivery schedules and communicate changes clearly.
• Load/unload and organize the truck per schedule.
• Comply with DOT regulations and roadside inspections.
• Touch freight experience.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class A license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Easton, PA Plant. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What will your job involve?

• NEW YORK CITY DELIVERIES/PICK UPS


• Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/PA


• Operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft in a safe manner


• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations


• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships


• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes


• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs


• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections


• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Class A license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD


• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft


• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse


• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations


• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections


• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus


• Proven longevity in past employment


• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
