Job summary

Daniels Health in Easton, PA is hiring a driver for New York City Routes in a 26ft box truck. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver with outstanding customer service.

A Class B license and DOT Medical Card are required, plus DOT compliance experience. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 5 AM to 3 PM, full-time direct hire, with benefits and a $28.00 per hour rate, plus a $3,000 new hire bonus after probation.

Qualifications

• Class B license with clean driving record and valid DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating a 26 ft box truck.
• Experience passing 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance and logging hours.
• Can-do attitude with strong customer focus and longevity in past jobs.
• Touch freight experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/DE/PA.
• Operating a 26 ft box truck safely.
• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build relationships.
• Complete deliveries to schedule and communicate changes.
• Load and unload and organize the truck per schedule.
• Comply with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Push/pull a cart weighing up to 200 lbs.

Daniels Health is offering a $3,000 new hire bonus for joining our amazing team in Easton!

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class B license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Easton, PA area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What will your job involve?

• Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/DE/PA
• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
