Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a driver with a Class B license and hazmat endorsement to serve the Easton, PA area, collecting medical waste and delivering with a 26 ft box truck. You’ll build strong customer relationships while meeting DOT requirements and daily schedule targets.

This full-time role offers a 5AM–3PM weekday shift, overtime opportunities, and a $3,000 new hire bonus after probation. Competitive hourly pay of $30.00 with benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Class B license with hazmat and DOT medical card
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 ft box truck
• Clear driving record and valid DOT medical card and hazmat
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Touch freight experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver throughout NYC/NJ/DE/PA
• Operate 26 ft box truck safely
• Safely collect and deliver medical waste containers
• Provide strong customer service and build relationships
• Complete deliveries to schedule and communicate changes
• Load/unload and organize truck per schedule
• Log hours and comply with DOT regulations
• Handle pushing/pulling a 200 lb cart

Daniels Health is offering a $3,000 new hire bonus for joining our amazing team in Easton!

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class B license WITH HAZMAT and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Easton, PA area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What will your job involve?

• Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/DE/PA
• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD AND HAZ
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
