Job summary

Power Plus in the United States is seeking a shop-based Generator Technician who will perform service and maintenance on Power Plus rental generators. The role involves working in the shop and occasionally driving to customer sites, interacting with customers professionally and completing inspection paperwork to document generator performance.

Candidates should have mechanical and electrical aptitude; Class A license is required and diesel generator experience is a plus.

• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of generator systems, including but not limited to performing engine oil and coolant services, servicing and priming fuel system.

SUMMARY

This position is in the US Generator Rental Division. The primary duties and responsibilities of this position are to perform service and maintenance on Power Plus rental generators. This requires the technician to work in the shop and occasionally drive to customer sites, interact with customers in a professional and manner, and fill out inspection paperwork indicating the performance of the generator.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Diesel generator experience a plus.
• Technical schooling, automotive or transportation fields, commercial, residential electric and or like military experience would be a plus.
• Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical theory and application.
• Class A license required.

Total Estimated Compensation: $82,940 - 101,900
