Job summary

Charlie's Produce is seeking a Class A Driver to deliver fresh produce across Oregon and Southwest Washington. You'll be on the road, with dispatch between 12 AM and 2 AM, ensuring accurate invoicing and safe deliveries to customers.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record, at least one year of verifiable driving experience, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. Medical, dental, vision, and other substantial benefits accompany this full-time position.

Qualifications

• At least one year of verifiable Class A driving experience for insurance purposes.
• Must be at least 23 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Valid Class A CDL and medical card.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs throughout shift.
• DOT reading/comprehension of English required.
• Satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries
• Load and unload product from trailer with electric pallet jack
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers
• Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues
• Professionally maintained, reliable and safe equipment
• Palletized product is delivered to a dock or with a lift gate
• All other duties as requested or assigned

Insurance Requirements: To be eligible for this role, candidates must be at least 23 years of age and have at least one (1) full year of driving experience operatinga Class A vehicle for insurance purposes.

Bonus Eligibility: Must be hired between March 16th-September 30th as a Full-Time Class A Driver and meet other eligibility criteria.

Job Description

Schedule: Typical dispatch times are between 12 AM and 2 AM
