Job Title: CDL Class A Vacuum Truck or Rolloff Truck Driver
HPC-Industrial powered by Clean Harbors is seeking a CDL Class A Vacuum Truck or Rolloff Truck Driver to join our safety-conscious team in Billings, MT. The Truck Driver Operator is responsible for safely operating Vacuum trucks or Rolloff trucks and equipment to complete single-task jobs requiring a crew, with management oversight at client sites. Successful candidates are team-oriented and highly motivated. Operators will receive on-the-job training to ensure safe and effective operation and maintenance of vacuum equipment, adhering to regulations, equipment specifications, and HPC policies.

Responsibilities
- Operate Vacuum trucks, Jet-Rodder, or Rolloff trucks with manual transmission experience required
- Label, mark, and manifest shipments according to DOT regulations and HPC policies
- Load shipments appropriately onto trucks
- Interact with customers to update on job status and ensure satisfaction
- Operate vehicles safely at all times
- Maintain a valid driver's license or CDL as required
- Obtain a license for your state within 90 days
- Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste safely
- Complete vehicle inspection reports before leaving premises
- Ensure brake adjustments are completed prior to use
- Maintain accurate driver logs for compliance
- Operate and maintain trucks and equipment per manufacturer instructions
- Avoid modifying vehicles or equipment without approval
- Obey all traffic laws and regulations
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs if qualified
- Wear PPE as required by HPC, DOT, OSHA, and customer regulations
- Report accidents, near misses, and injuries immediately
- Suggest safety and service improvements based on experience
- Ensure loads and equipment are secured properly before transport
- Respond to calls during nights and weekends as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Vocational training including safety courses, on-the-job training, and relevant experience
- Ability to understand English for safety instructions and emergency responses
- Valid driver's license and CDL Class A, with adherence to company driving policies
- Knowledge of emergency equipment operation, e.g., fire extinguishers
- Experience operating vacuum trucks
- Knowledge of wet and dry vacuum equipment
