Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. in Willmar, MN is hiring a Class B CDL HazMat Driver for full-time service deliveries and related duties. You will perform cylinder and bulk deliveries, complete required paperwork, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

The role includes on-the-job training, benefits eligibility, and potential overnight trips. Candidates must have Hazmat endorsement, DOT test clearance, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brakes.
• DOT pre-employment drug screen and physical, plus company road test.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Clean driving record; 3+ years of driving experience.
• Ability to lift 75–100 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication; comfortable using computers.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide cylinder and/or bulk deliveries to customers and inner branches using a combination tractor-trailer truck.
• Perform inventory control functions.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly working environment.
• Ensure vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled.
• Ensure compliance with CGMP, Hazmat, OSHA, DOT and other regulatory agencies.
• Complete paperwork accurately and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Maintain electronic trip logs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Achieve delivery objectives as directed by management.
• Overnight trips may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time hourly non-exempt position eligible for overtime
