Job summary

American Welding and Gas, Inc. is seeking a Class A Delivery Driver in Brainerd, MN. The role requires HazMat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements and involves delivering gas and liquid cylinders to customers and branches.

You will load and unload cylinders, complete paperwork, and ensure safety per SOPs and DOT/OSHA requirements. Strong English reading/writing, and physical ability to handle loads are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement.
• 3+ years of clean commercial driving record.

• Ability to move and lift cylinders (up to 100+ lbs with assistance).
• Pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and company road test completed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers and branches using company vehicle.
• Load/unload and move gas/liquid cylinders and other supplies.
• Complete delivery tickets accurately and legibly.
• Follow SOPs and comply with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks.

\u003Cb\u003EAmerican Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG")\u003C/b\u003E has an immediate opportunity for a \u003Cb\u003EClass A Delivery Driver in Brainerd, MN.\u003C/b\u003E This position requires a Class A CDL with HazMat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements.

Responsibilities include loading, unloading, moving, and storing of gas and liquid cylinders and other hard good supplies, making deliveries to customers or other branches, and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.

\u003Cb\u003EDuties:\u003C/b\u003E

• Use company vehicle to deliver products and equipment to customers in a safe and courteous manner.
• Pick up returns at customer place of business.
• Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Comply with all DOT + OSHA Regulations.
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class A CDL Required with Hazmat Endorsement.
• Clean commercial driving record 3+ years.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.).
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and company-administered road test.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers.
• Drug Free work environment.
