Job summary

American Welding and Gas, Inc. (AWG) is seeking an experienced Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Appleton, WI to load, deliver and service cylinders and cryogenic liquids to customers and branches. This position requires Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and a clean driving record.

You will follow SOPs, comply with DOT/OSHA regulations, maintain trip logs, prepare accurate paperwork, and help keep vehicles tidy. AWG offers a strong benefits package, paid holidays, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class B CDL required with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test.
• Ability to communicate with customers Drug Free work environment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and store gas cylinders and other hard goods; deliver to customers or branches.
• Move and secure cylinders safely; handle full and empty cylinders.
• Deliver CO2 and cryogenic liquids in tankers or vessels.
• Read and follow SOPs; comply with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Prepare and complete shipping papers and delivery tickets; keep vehicle clean.
• Maintain electronic trip-logs.

American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity for Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Appleton, WI. This position requires a Class B CDL with HazMat & Tanker endorsements.

Class B CDL Delivery Driver - $3500 Sign On Bonus Available !!!!!

Duties:

• This position has the responsibility of loading, unloading, moving and storage of gas and liquid cylinders, CO2 and cynogenic liquids and other hard good supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering CO2 and cryogenic liquids in transport tankers and/or cryogenic vessels.
• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations.
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Ensure vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled.
• Maintain electronic trip-logs.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
