Job summary

EMR USA Metal Recycling is seeking an experienced Class A Truck Driver for our Dallas, Texas transportation team. You will travel to customer sites to perform live loads and roll-off container swaps while upholding the highest safety and service standards. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, at least 1 year of driving experience, and knowledge of DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience.
• Roll-off driving experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of State and Federal motor carrier regulations.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport materials to and from designated locations.
• Pick up full containers and unload them at assigned sites.
• Perform live loading and roll-off container swaps.
• Secure loads in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Coordinate daily schedules and assignments with Dispatch.
• Accurately report trip numbers and maintain required documentation.
• Weigh loads at the yard as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
