Job summary

EMR Group is seeking an experienced Class A Truck Driver to join our transportation team in Bryan, Texas. The role involves safely transporting materials to customer sites and performing live loads and roll-off container swaps while upholding high standards of safety and customer service.

Ideal candidates should have a Class A CDL, at least one year of driving experience, and must be dependable with strong attention to safety procedures. The position offers various perks including PTO, insurance, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Class A driving experience is necessary.
• Roll-off driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport materials to and from designated locations.
• Pick up full containers and unload them at assigned sites.
• Perform live loading and roll-off container swaps.
• Secure loads in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Coordinate daily schedules and assignments with Dispatch.
• Accurately report trip numbers and maintain required documentation.
• Weigh loads at the yard as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience

Roll-off experience preferred

Working knowledge of State and Federal motor carrier regulations

Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong attention to safety procedures

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent
