Qualifications

• Must pass a medical DOT physical and DOT drug test
• Background check required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 3 years CDL Class A driving experience required, no restrictions, 10-speed manual preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform basic math as needed

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks hauling scrap metal
• Inspect and determine metal grade for inventory tracking
• Perform DOT daily operation and safety inspection
• Coordinate with office and customers to determine commodities to load
• Work independently when driving scrap metal
• Ensure safe, efficient yard operations with others
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment
• Regular attendance and punctuality essential
