Job summary

Arcwood Environmental, LLC is hiring a Regional Driver to operate semi-vans, roll-off, and dump trailers across various sites. The role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and precise recordkeeping while representing the company with customers.

You will load supplies, inspect and fuel the vehicle, and transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to client sites, completing required paperwork and maintaining safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Hazmat endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers as required.
• Load supplies for job completion and travel to various labs, schools, and sites for lab pack services.
• Inspect vehicle and equipment, fuel truck, and ensure all equipment is in good order.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to customer sites.
• Complete shipment paperwork for hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Maintain DOT logbook and ensure compliance.
• Represent the company professionally with customers.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

$7,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!Join Arcwood and earn a $7,000 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments as you reach key milestones:

• $3,500 after 6 months
• $3,500 after 12 months

Sign-on bonus is subject to applicable eligibility requirements and taxes.

As a Regional Driver you will be responsible for driving and operating semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers as required.

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
• Loads supplies needed for job completion and travels to various industry, laboratory, and school sites to perform lab pack services
• Prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent order
• Drives to customer sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous material
• Completes necessary paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Follows proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials
• Maintains a logbook for Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
• Assists customers in troubleshooting and correcting record keeping inconsistencies and service concerns
• Acts as a Company Representative with all customers and contacts
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education

• High-school diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience

• 1+ years of Class A CDL driving experience (required)
• Hazmat endorsement (required)
