Job summary

Arcwood Environmental, LLC, a nationwide waste management leader, is hiring a Regional CDL Driver. You will operate semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers, driving to client sites and ensuring compliance with safety policies.

The role requires a High-school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year Class A CDL experience, Hazmat endorsement, and willingness to support a growing, safety-focused team across our nationwide footprint.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Hazmat endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety policies and maintains safe practices.
• Loads supplies and travels to lab sites for waste packaging.
• Inspects vehicle, fuels truck, and checks equipment daily.
• Drives to client sites to collect waste and transport hazardous materials.
• Completes shipment paperwork for hazardous materials.
• Maintains DOT logbook and compliance.
• Assists customers with record-keeping and service issues.
• Represents Arcwood with customers.
• Takes on additional duties to support the team.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Regional CDL Driver As a Regional Driver you will be responsible for driving and operating semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers as required.

$7000 Sign on bonus available

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
• Loads supplies needed for job completion and travels to various industry, laboratory, and school sites to perform lab pack services
• Prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent order
• Drives to customer sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous material
• Completes necessary paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Follows proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials
• Maintains a logbook for Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
• Assists customers in troubleshooting and correcting record keeping inconsistencies and service concerns
• Acts as a Company Representative with all customers and contacts
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education

• High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
