About Climate Express

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We operate with 200 company drivers, ensuring families across America are supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet consists of safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team, strong and capable of getting things done together.

Equipment

Our trucks are 2022 or newer Volvo 760s, automatic, with features like ergonomically designed seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W power inverters, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right way scales, and Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. Maintenance is supported by an on-site repair facility and wash bays.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55 to .58 CPM, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional compensation is available for detention, layovers, and other load-specific factors. Average weekly pay ranges from $2,600 to $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit. There are no holdbacks.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out, with some areas possibly requiring longer stays and offering up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments. Although drivers do not accrue days off weekly, we strive to accommodate individual needs.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over half being drop and hook. Freight types include dry van and reefer loads, primarily in the US middle corridor, avoiding NYC, ports, and borders. Loads are mostly contracted, and drivers operate on major highways with no dedicated routes.

Policies

Rider policy allows one passenger aged 12 or older, available from day one. Canine policy permits two small dogs or one large dog with a $500 fee, deducted weekly until paid, non-refundable once the pet is placed. No policies for other pets.
