Job Description

Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Safe Volvo tractors with all the bells and whistles on them. High miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment: 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Features include ergonomically designed seats, 70" L /96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators, Auxiliary power units, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass, on-site repair, and wash bay.

Pay: Starting at .55cpm - .58cpm, paid on practical miles. Additional pays for detention, layover, and other factors. Weekly average $2600-$3200, paid weekly via direct deposit.

Home Time: Drivers get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out. Some may stay out longer with increased time off. Home time is agreed upon in writing before hiring. Accommodations for special events are considered.

Loads & Routes: Mainly originating in MO, 55%+ drop and hook. Mostly dry van and reefer loads, no NY City, no ports, no borders. Mostly contracted freight on major highways, no dedicated routes.

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid vacations, 401K with employer match.

Rider Policy: One passenger 12+ years old, available from day 1.

Canine Policy: $500 fee per pet, up to 2 small dogs or 1 large dog, deduction of $100/week, non-refundable once placed. No policy for other pets.

Requirements: 1-year recent tractor/trailer experience, no more than 3 violations in 3 years. Veterans and women encouraged to apply; second chance employer.
