Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. Our team of 200 company drivers keeps families supplied with essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors equipped with the latest features, ensuring high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

- 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Features include ergonomically designed seats, perfect steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges, on-site repair facility, and wash bay.

Pay

- Starting at .55cpm - .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-specific bonuses. Average weekly pay ranges from $2,600 to $3,200. Paid weekly via direct deposit. Work one week, get paid the next. No holdbacks.

Home Time

- Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our running area. Some areas may offer longer stretches out and up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon in writing before hiring and honored accordingly. Drivers should notify dispatch of their home time needs. While days off are not accrued weekly, we try to accommodate special events and appointments.

Loads & Routes

- 98% of freight originates in Missouri. Over 55% is drop and hook; the rest is 1 pick-1 drop. We primarily haul dry van (palletized) and reefer (climate-controlled) loads, avoiding slaughterhouses, fresh meat, NY City, ports, and borders. Most routes are in the US middle corridor, using major highways. No dedicated routes; drivers run a mix of freight types. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J stations.

Rider Policy

- One passenger age 12 or older, available from day 1.

Canine Policy

- $500 fee per pet; up to 2 small dogs or 1 large dog. Deduction of $100 weekly until paid off. Policy is non-refundable once the pet is in the truck. No policies for cats, reptiles, or birds.
