Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Fleet Driver in Plano, TX. You will transport vehicles between CarMax locations and vendors, performing pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintaining DOT logs. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and professional interaction with staff and vendors.

You’ll work outdoors with a company vehicle and must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements. Eligible candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL and have 2+ years of CDL driving experience, with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must have DDL Class A CDL and 2+ years of CDL driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations in past 3 years.
• Ability to meet DOT & FMCSA qualification requirements.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and secure loads.
• Outdoor work exposure and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safety first: perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and CarMax standards.
• Stay compliant: maintain accurate DOT logs and documentation.
• Transport with care: load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles safely.
• Be accountable: move vehicles between locations using company truck.
• Deliver with purpose: ensure on-time delivery to support inventory flow.
• Represent CarMax professionally with vendors and staff.
