Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Fleet Driver I to transport vehicles between CarMax locations and approved vendors. You will perform thorough safety inspections, maintain DOT logs, and ensure vehicles are loaded, secured, and delivered on schedule.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL and 2+ years of CMV driving experience, with opportunities for consistent schedules and competitive hourly pay. This on-site position emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with state license.
• 2+ years of Class A CDL driving experience (Military CMV considered).
• 2+ years of CMV driving experience at CarMax (non-Class A CMV acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and CarMax standards.
• Maintain accurate and compliant DOT logs and documentation.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload CarMax vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Move vehicles between CarMax locations and approved vendors using a company truck.
• Deliver vehicles on time to support inventory flow and customer schedules.
• Represent CarMax professionally with vendors, store associates, and the public.
