Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Fleet Driver in Houston to safely load, transport, and offload vehicles between stores, auctions, and hubs. You will help maintain inventory flow and customer satisfaction while upholding CarMax safety standards.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL and at least 2 years of CMV driving experience, with a clean driving record and DOT knowledge. Expect a home-daily schedule and outdoor work in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and 2+ years CMV driving experience.
• Must meet CarMax Safety & Compliance criteria and have a clean driving record in past 3 years.
• Able to operate a 10-speed transmission and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, transport, and offload vehicles between stores, auctions, vendors, and hubs.
• Ensure timely delivery to maintain inventory flow and customer satisfaction.
• Operate equipment with safety, efficiency, and cleanliness in mind.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and CarMax standards.
• Maintain accurate DOT logs and required documentation.
• Represent CarMax professionally when dealing with vendors and the public.
• Follow all safety regulations to minimize risk.
