CarMax is seeking a Fleet Driver I in Houston to move vehicles between locations and vendors, ensuring on-time deliveries and safe handling. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain DOT logs, and transport vehicles with care in all weather.

Qualifications

21 years of age or older with a valid state-issued driver’s license.
Clean driving record with no serious violations within the past three years.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and secure loads per standards.
Ability to climb, bend, and kneel to access vehicles on multi-level decks.
Meet DOT & FMCSA qualification requirements.
Valid Class A CDL and 2+ years of CDL driving experience.

Responsibilities

Safety first — complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and CarMax standards.
Maintain accurate and compliant DOT logs and documentation.
Load, secure, transport, and unload CarMax vehicles safely and efficiently.
Move vehicles between CarMax locations and approved vendors using company trucks.
Deliver vehicles on time to support inventory flow and store schedules.
Represent CarMax professionally when interacting with vendors, associates, and the public.
