Job summary

Strack, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Truck Driver to transport goods between sites, load vehicles, and deliver safely while following traffic laws. Drivers report to the Logistics Manager and may work Saturdays or travel for out-of-town projects.

Candidates must hold a Class A CDL, have a clean MVR and background, be able to secure oversized loads, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and travel as needed. Endorsements for Hazmat and Tanker are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A CDL with clean MVR and background.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Willing to travel out of town and work some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods between locations while loading and unloading.
• Follow traffic laws and adhere to DOT/OSHA safety guidelines.
• Secure and haul oversize loads as needed.
• Maintain logs and perform Pre-Trip inspections.
• Report to Logistics Manager and begin work from Strack, Inc. offices.
• Operate safely and professionally in varying climates.

Job Summary

A Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods from one location to another. Their job duties include loading their vehicles, abiding by traffic laws and ensuring safe unloading and delivery at their destination. Drivers report to Logistics Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Class A CDL
• CDL driver must have clean MVR & Criminal Backgrounds
• Capability to secure and haul oversizeloads in a timely manner
• Comply with all safety, DOT and OSHA guidelines
• Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment
• Load, Unload & Secure Construction Equipment either manually or with the use of a Forklift
• Properly track and document log sheets
• Perform Pre Trip inspection before every trip
• Knowledge of Flatbed with dovetail ramps
• Ability to handle physical workload in various climates
• Report to the designated Strack, Inc. office or headquarters each workday as required. All project transportation or driving assignments, if applicable, will begin from this location.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (Some Saturdays required as well as out of town travel)
• Required to pass Pre-employment drug screen
