Job summary

National Trench Safety is hiring a Class A CDL Driver (Non-Crane Certified) to deliver and pick up trench-related shoring to and from customer sites, ensuring on-time, safe, and efficient service. You will adhere to DOT/FMCSR policies and the company’s safety protocols in a safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• Ability to secure loads safely.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have Class A CDL and valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (FMCSR).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
• Comply with all DOT regulations related to vehicle operation and drivers’ logs.
• Deliver and pick up shoring and plates to and from job sites, often with multiple loads per day.
• Occasionally load/unload truck and trailer at customer sites and assemble/disassemble shoring on sites.
• Maintain delivery documents and communicate with branch about schedules and issues.
• Keep vehicle clean and perform basic maintenance; respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
