Job summary

National Trench Safety, Inc in Albany/Latham, NY is seeking a Class A CDL Driver, non‑crane certified, to deliver and pickup trench shoring at customer sites. You will follow DOT/FMCSR safety rules, ensure loads are secured, manage delivery docs, and support yard operations as needed.

The role requires driving experience, a valid Class A license, and a current medical certificate. Occasional after-hours support may be requested by the branch.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience driving Class A CDL vehicles.
• Current Class A CDL issued by the DMV.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate per FMCSR 49 CFR 391.41–391.49.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up shoring and plates to and from customer job sites, multiple loads daily.
• Operate vehicles safely, adhering to DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maintain delivery documents and keep branch informed of schedules.
• Assist with yard operations and site preparation as needed.
• Be available for after-hours emergencies when branch requests.
