Job summary

National Trench Safety, LLC is seeking a Class A CDL Driver, Non-Crane Certified, to safely deliver and pick up trench-related shoring equipment to contractor sites in the Miami area. This full-time role emphasizes DOT/FMCSR compliance, safety, and reliable on-time service.

You will inspect vehicles, maintain logs and credentials, load and secure shipments, interact with customers, and support yard operations as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of direct experience driving vehicles requiring Class A CDL.
Current Class A CDL issued by the State DMV.
Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate in accordance with FMCSR 49 CFR 391.41-391.49.
Ability to obtain forklift certification as required.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, professionally.
Comply with DOT/FMCSR rules: inspections, HOS logs, credentials, drug tests, secure loads; report incidents.
Deliver and pick up shoring and plates to/from job sites; multiple loads daily.
Load/unload as needed; assemble/disassemble shoring on sites.
Maintain delivery documents as required.
Maintain open communication with the branch for schedules; report delivery issues.
Adhere to customers’ safety requirements at sites.
Assist yard operations and site cleanup; training customers as needed.
Record and report damages to rental equipment to branch management.
Be available for after-hours emergencies as needed.
Keep the vehicle clean and up to date on maintenance.
