Job summary

National Trench Safety is seeking a Class A CDL Driver (Non-Crane Certified) to deliver and pick up trench-related shoring to customer sites. The role requires strict adherence to DOT/FMCSR safety policies and National Trench Safety procedures, with potential after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, securing loads per DOT rules, maintaining accurate logs and documentation, and assisting with yard operations when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct Class A CDL driving experience.
• Current Class A CDL issued by the State DMV.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate per FMCSR

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and professionally.
• Comply with DOT regulations and perform vehicle inspections.
• Keep accurate electronic logs and maintain credentials.
• Secure loads in accordance with DOT and company policies.
• Deliver and pick up shoring and plates to/from job sites.
• Occasionally load/unload at customer sites; assemble/disassemble shoring.
• Maintain delivery documents and communicate schedules to the branch.
• Be available for after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Keep the vehicle clean and up to date on maintenance.
