Job summary

Builders FirstSource is hiring a delivery driver to transport and deliver building materials to customer sites in El Paso, TX. You will drive vehicles over 26,000 lbs, help secure loads, and assist customers while maintaining safety and logs.

The role requires a Class A CDL, a valid license, and at least one year of delivery experience with a focus on accuracy, safety, and customer service. A DOT medical card and clean MVR are required.

Qualifications

• HD diploma or GED required; 21+ years old with a valid license.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving; 2 years preferred.
• Pass MVR, obtain a DOT medical card within 5 days of request, and maintain safe driving history.
• Ability to read and speak English; basic math/measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified sites and secure loads.
• Operate delivery vehicle and load/unload as needed, ensuring safety.
• Maintain logs, verify items against invoices, and document deliveries.
• Assist customers and serve as a liaison to resolve issues.
• Perform safety checks, inspections, and basic maintenance tasks.
