Job summary

Colonial Group in Georgia is seeking a full-time delivery driver with a Class A CDL to transport materials to customer sites. You will deliver orders weighing heavy loads, secure them, and provide professional service while following DVIR/HOS requirements.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, be 21+, hold a valid driver's license and a Class A CDL, and meet MVR and DOT medical card requirements. Expect safety training and routine vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old with valid driver's license.
• Class A CDL license required.
• Minimum 1 year delivery driving experience; 2 years CDL preferred.
• Pass MVR; obtain DOT medical card within 5 days of request.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to designated sites and maneuver into loading/unloading positions.
• Secure loads and protect goods and customer property during delivery.
• Maintain logs of deliveries, mileage, and locations; verify against invoices.
• Act as a customer service liaison and resolve issues as they arise.
• Perform routine safety checks on vehicles and keep them clean.
• May operate forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment for loading/unloading.
• Follow DVIR and HOS rules and attend safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
