Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a professional over-the-road delivery driver to transport, deliver, and unload metal roofing panels to customers. Work involves route trucking with multi-drop deliveries to dealers and job sites, while adhering to Federal regulations and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience, including winter driving.
• Must have a valid Medical Card and acceptable MVR.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong safety and regulatory compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely load/unload and deliver metal roofing panels to dealers, distribution centers, and job sites.
• Deliver material via route truck/multi-drop while complying with federal regulations.
• Maintain records for DOT compliance: logs, fuel, mileage, etc.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and keep vehicle clean.
• Respond to customer inquiries or direct to appropriate contact.
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
• Report needed repairs promptly and ensure DOT compliance.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
