Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Driver to join our transportation team, delivering metal roofing, wall panel systems, trim and related building products to customers and job sites across North America.

You will operate a Class A truck, load and unload materials, ensure DOT compliance, and maintain delivery records while communicating with dispatch and customers. Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $95,000 per year, depending on experience and route.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Previous flatbed hauling experience preferred.
• Experience operating a Moffett forklift strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of load securement procedures for building materials.
• Ability to safely lift and handle delivery materials when required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a Class A commercial vehicle to transport metal building products to customer locations.
• Loading, securing, transporting, and unloading materials in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Operating a Moffett forklift for job site and customer-side unloading.
• Performing pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections.
• Verifying load accuracy against shipping documentation prior to departure.
• Maintaining accurate delivery records, logs, and required transportation documentation.
• Communicating professionally with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules and updates.
• Ensuring all loads are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
• Adhering to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Reporting vehicle maintenance concerns or delivery issues promptly.
• Assisting with yard organization and trailer movement as needed.
