Job summary

Clean Harbors in Thomasville, NC is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites. The role includes driving, loading and unloading, and on-site manual labor to support hazardous waste clean-up.

The successful candidate will hold a valid Class A CDL, be able to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days, and maintain safe driving records in compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement within 90 days.
• Background check, drug screen, and medical exam will be required.
• Ability to use mobile devices used on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Load and unload trucks and perform site labor.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety guidelines.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Assist with site remediation and handling of hazardous materials.
