Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental, a leading environmental services firm, seeks a Class A CDL Driver for our Raleigh, NC team. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials, perform vehicle inspections, maintain digital logs, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include operating various commercial vehicles, on-call emergency response eligibility, and traveling overnight as needed. We support career growth, training, and a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to travel overnight 2+ days per week.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including tractor trailers, tankers, roll-offs, and box trucks, in compliance with regulations.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities as part of Emergency Response team (optional).
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status per DOT regulations.
• Complete required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
• Properly secure load for safe transportation.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Travel overnight as required to complete assigned routes.

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for our Raleigh, NC team. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

This highly motivated & safety-first individual will be responsible for operating Class A commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

This position reports to our Transportation Manager . This role is and is based in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to tractor trailers, tankers, roll-offs, and box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

• Travel overnight as required to complete assigned routes, including trips lasting two or more consecutive days.

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Valid ClassACommercial Driver's License.
  
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Must have a reliable form of transportation.
  
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
  
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis.
  
• Must be able to travel overnight 2+ days per week.
• The Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and responsible for taking on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive.
  
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles
