Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental, a leader in environmental services, is seeking a Class B CDL Driver for the Somerville team. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain digital logs in compliance with DOT regulations.

This role supports on-call Emergency Response (optional), loading/unloading tasks, and load security, with a safety-first culture and opportunities for growth within a large North American organization.

Qualifications

• Operate Class B commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with all regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain accurate digital logs and comply with DOT regulations.
• Lift up to 60 pounds and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Agree to background checks and drug screening as part of hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles (e.g., 24' box trucks) per regulations.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document results.
• Maintain digital logs of hours, vehicle status, and service needs.
• Complete manifest paperwork accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with dispatch and clients for timely deliveries.
• Assist with loading/unloading and securing loads.
• Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance programs.

You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

This highly motivated & safety-first individual will be responsible for operating Class B commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to 24' box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities as part of our Emergency Response team (optional).
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
  
• Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations.
  
• Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
  
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
  
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
  
• Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials.
  
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.

Basic Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Valid ClassA or B Commercial Driver's License.
  
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Must have a reliable form of transportation.
  
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
  
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
  
• Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday).
  
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
  
• The Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and responsible for taking on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive.
  
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Preferred Requirements

• Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles.
• Previous experience in environmental services or related field
