Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental in Orlando is hiring a Class A CDL driver with tanker experience to join our team. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various sites, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

The role requires operating Class A commercial vehicles, performing vehicle inspections, maintaining digital logs, and following safety policies. This position reports to the Transportation Manager and entails loading/unloading support and load securing.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • 1–3 years tanker/vacuum truck driving experience.
  • Active Tanker endorsement.
  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be willing to consent to DOT screenings and drug tests.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including tankers and other trucks, in compliance with all regulations.
  • Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to disposal or recycling facilities.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate digital logs of hours and maintenance, per DOT rules.
  • Complete manifest paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate with dispatch and clients to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Assist with loading/unloading and proper load securing.
  • Participate in ongoing safety training and development.

Class A CDL Driver

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Class A CDL driver with tanker driving experience to join our Orlando team. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.


This highly motivated & safety-first individual will be responsible for operating Class A commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.


This position reports to the Transportation Manager.


Responsibilities


  • Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to tankers, vacuum trucks, tractor‑trailers, roll‑offs, and box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.

  • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.

  • Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations.

  • Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.

  • Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.

  • Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials.

  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.


Basic Requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.

  • 1-3 years tanker/vacuum truck driving experience.

  • Active Tanker endorsement.

  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must have a reliable form of transportation.

  • Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre‑employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).

  • Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC).

  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week.

  • Ability to work overtime on a regular basis.

  • The Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for taking on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety‑sensitive.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.


Preferred Requirements


  • Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is required.

  • Previous experience in environmental services or related field.

  • Active Hazmat endorsement.
